E-Lab 9.3.1 - Troubleshooting Layer 1: Using show interfaces
The purpose of this exercise is to verify that the physical Serial 0/0 interface is up, reset the interface counters, and check the interface again to see what happens after a counter reset.
Step 1
Login to the router in the privileged EXEC mode.
Step 2
View the status of interface serial 0/0.
Step 3.1
Clear the counters on interface serial 0/0.
Step 3.2
Type 'y' or press Enter to clear the counters.
Step 4
Now view the status of interface serial 0/0.
