E-Lab 3.1.7 - Configuring an Ethernet Interface In this lab you will configure an Ethernet interface on the router. Step 1.1 Enter privileged EXEC mode. Step 1.2 Enter global configuration mode to begin the configuration process. Step 2.1 Configure the hostname of the current router to be Riyadh. Step 2.2 Now configure an enable password of cisco. Step 3 Enter interface configuration mode for the fastethernet 0 interface. Step 4.1 Configure an ip address of 192.168.14.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 for the current interface. Step 4.2 Now activate the interface. Step 5 Use the command end to exit into privileged EXEC mode. Step 6.1 Now view the running configuration. Step 6.2 Finally, save the running configuration.
