E-Lab 7.2.5 - Verifying RIP Configuration
Use IOS show commands to verify the operation of a router running RIP.
Step 1.1
First, verify that the router is configured for RIP by checking the running-config.
Step 1.2
Verify that the interfaces are up.
Step 1.3
Review the IP features configured on the interfaces.
Step 1.4
Show the IP routing protocols running on the router to verify the RIP process.
Step 1.5
Now check that the router is receiving its neighbor's advertised routes by reviewing the routing table.
