Electrostatic charge from a capacitor will excite a current flow in nearby transmission lines. This means a-d conversion should be done one at a time (show some calculations to prove all of this). This is not a problem as the microchip can only do one at a time anyway (but more advanced models may have multiple concurrently running a-d converters).
